Privacy specialist AdFixus fills out leadership ranks with three appointments across sales, technology, and operations
AdFixus has added fifty years of heft to its leadership credentials with three key appointments to its executive team. It wants to capitalise on the increasing focus on identity management as privacy concerns grow, and third party cookies decay.
With the appointment of former Adobe exec Roland Irwin as head of sales, former Meta engineering manager Aleksandar Andjelkovic and Saas management specialist Rob Schmitt as chief operating officer, Australian identity company AdFixus is beefing up its leadership team as it prepares to expand.
The company works with brands like Subaru, and with Carsales where its solution is used to mitigate against the decline of third party cookies and the rise of more aggressive privacy regulations, as we reported earlier this year.
The three new hires have more than half a century's experience between them.
Irwin's career includes key roles at Toyota, News Corporation, NTT and Adobe, where he most recently led the Experience Platform sales team for strategic accounts in ANZ.
Andjelkovic most recently worked for Meta in London, and he had a stint with Nutantix prior to that. He also spent some time at YCombinator-backed startup Science Exchange, where he led the technical transformation of the Sciex platform into an enterprise-ready product, enabling partnerships with top pharmaceutical companies.
Schmitt meanwhile has 12 years under his belt as a COO and GM leading SaaS businesses, and 15 years in product and program leadership, bringing a wealth of operational and strategic expertise to the team, according to the company. That includes experience across a range of functions such as marketing, sales, product, and finance.
According to a company spokesperson, "Each new hire brings unique strengths and experiences that align seamlessly with the company's vision and goals. AdFixus looks forward to the collective expertise and leadership that Aleksandar, Roland, and Rob will provide as the company continues to push boundaries in the technology sector."
